Karen & Tess

Karen is our practice's founding Veterinary Nurse with over 30 years experience. She is a Lara local, who these days is our main veterinary nurse at our clinic in Lara. You will find her there working the morning shifts and most evenings. 

Karen's experience, willingness to listen to clients and helpfulness, are a great asset to our practice.  You will always find Karen a pleasure to deal with.

Miranda & Geordie

Miranda has been with us since 2004. During her time here Miranda gained her Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV and in doing so received an award in Dental Nursing.  In 2006 she completed the microchipping implantation accreditation course.

In 2007 Miranda went on an overseas working holiday to Europe where she continued in the veterinary nursing field. We are delighted to have Miranda back with us as part of our team.  Miranda's hard working attitude along with her bubbly demeanour make her a great asset to our clinic. She is always happy to help with anything you may need.

Rachel & Clutch

Rachel joined us in January 2007, where she showed outstanding abilities during her work placement with the Veterinary Nurse Course. In 2008 she gained her Certificate IV, graduating with Emergency and Critical Care award.

Rachel enjoys traveling, hiking, catching a good film and spending time with friends.

Judith & Misty

Judith became part of our nursing team in December 2008. She works two evening sessions a week at our Lara clinic and helps out with the Saturday morning shifts at Corio 

Tracy & Dexter

Tracy was employed as part of the nursing team in 2009. She is currently studying the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and balancing her nursing duties with training her race horses. Tracy has a friendly demeanour and is always willing to assist in both client and patient needs.

Ali & Ivy

Ali first worked with us as a high school work experience student in 2006.  She did such a good job during her placement that we offered her a nursing position in March 2011. Ali now fits in several days a week with us around her full time studies in Animal Science at La Trobe University.  

Kerrie with Fanni & Eddie

Kerrie joined us in May 2011 after having previously worked at a horse stud. Prior to this, Kerrie was a veterinary nurse at the University of Melbourne Veterinary Clinic and Hospital. She has attained her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Lisa

Lisa is the practice manager for Corio and Lara Clinics. Lisa keeps all the nurses in line and takes care of all the clinic's administration needs.

As you can see our nursing staff are extremely well qualified to provide the best care for your pets.  We feel very proud to have our nurses recognised with course topping awards in surgery, dentistry and emergency critical care. 

But perhaps even more important than being highly skilled and smart, they are all wonderfully caring, have a strong work ethic and are committed to working as a team.
